In her role as Clinical Advisor, Natalie will be working with our team to develop insights from private healthcare data and contribute to our methodologies for case-mix adjustment and publication of meaningful indicators for patients.
Chief Executive of the Private Healthcare Information Network, Matt James, said “We’re really excited to have Natalie on board to strengthen PHIN’s clinical understanding. Natalie brings a compelling combination of experience in the national policy arena and hands-on front line care, and is a talented communicator.”
On joining the team, Natalie said “The need for transparency in private healthcare has flown below the radar for far too long, and I’m really excited to be joining the team working to put that right. I’ve worked extensively across the NHS, both as a clinician and at a national level on policy initiatives to improve patient care, and I strongly believe that clinical informatics and data has great potential to improve patient safety, experience, and outcomes. I’m looking forward to contributing my medical knowledge and expertise to this important initiative.”
